  Q1: How can I record a PVR file?
First, you should enter [PVR] menu. Then you can select the "RECORD NOW" button and DP7010 will switch display to the connected video component. To press the "3-way select button" to start the video recording (there will show a "REC" icon and timer), and press the "Stop" button to stop the recording.

  Q2: What kind of device can support PVR function?
You must have an external video capture device, like CCD, TV set or DVD Player… etc. You need to make sure that DP7010 is connected to the device via AV/IN Cable.

  Q3: How can I use DP7010 to record TV program?
You can record and convert TV programs directly into MP4 format video via AV/IN Cable. All files are only for personal viewing. The advanced MPEG-4 digital video recording technology provided by DP7010 is restricted to the transcription of the TV program into MPEG-4 format by the user, and can only be used for the purpose of viewing for individual users. To respect the intellectual property rights of the technology, do NOT record, copy, exchange or spread the file to third parties without authorization. Follow the relevant regulations while recording video, audio, music or sound works.


  Q4: Can I use DP7010 to record VCD or DVD films?
Yes. You can easily record and convert films by connecting it to DVD Player via AV/IN Cable. All files are only for personal viewing. The advanced MPEG-4 digital video recording technology provided by DP7010 is restricted to the transcription of the DVD-VCD contents into MPEG-4 format by the user, and can only be used for the purpose of viewing for individual users.   Q5: How can I playback my PVR file?
You can select the "PLAY RECORD" button and it will display a list of (*.asf) files that contain what you just recorded. Then you can select the file and press the "3-way select button" to playback.

  Q6: What kind of video files does DP7010 encode?
DP7010 can encode MPEG-4 SP (*.asf) format files. For detail video playback specifications, please check Technical specifications.

  Q7: How can I adjust the PVR playback volume of DP7010?
When the selected video is playing, you can scroll up or down the "3-way select button" to adjust the volume directly.

  Q8: Can I setup the PVR record interval?
Yes. You can modify the record interval from 30 to 240 minutes via the "RECORD min" button.

  Q9: When I try to record a PVR file, it can't be recorded?
You won't use "PVR" function if the HDD space of DP7010 is lower than 100MB.

  Q10: How long can DP7010 record for PVR file?
It depends on different video record quality and the content source. DP7010 provides 3 kinds of video record quality-High, Middle and Low. You can modify it at the [SETUP] menu.
