| (March 8, 2005 - Taipei,
Taiwan) – MobiNote Technology Corporation
today (March 8) announces that its 7-inch
Portable Media Player (PMP) MobiNote DP7010
was awarded iF Design Award from the Industry
Forum of Germany. MobitNote Technology will
announce 3 new PMPs at CeBIT 2005, the world
biggest IT and communication show held during
March 10-16 in Hannover, Germany.
iF is the acronym for the Industry Forum
based in Hannover, Germany. As the world’s
most prestigious design prize, the iF Design
Award is also called the Oscar Award for
Design. MobiNote Technology won the award
with the innovative design concepts of MobiNote
DP7010, suggesting that the manufacturer’s
appeal to large-size and high-resolution
PMPs has won international recognition and
the independent R&D capacity of the
small but powerful R&D team of OEM manufacturers
in Taiwan has reached world standard in
addition to their integration capacity.
The MobiNote DP7010, a 7-inch MP4 player
equipped with the top-quality LTPS (Low
Temperature Poly Silicon) screen and advanced
MPEG-4 compression technology for playing
MP4 videos in a wide screen format (16:9).
Furthermore, the DP7010 has a wide viewing
angle of up to 170°, which is ideal for
movie appreciation. Compared to the pocket-size
PMPs, the DP7010 has a resolution of 400%
to give live video and audio effects like
seeing a movie at the cinema. The built-in
20GB hard drive, MP3 player, photo viewer,
voice recorder, and digital video recorder
in the DP7010 (operable in energy-saving
mode through the user-friendly interface)
fulfills the demands of users asking for
a fully-functional personal multimedia center.
The MobiNote DP7010 sports a simple North
European design and style. All of the operating
buttons are designed on the side of the
player, enabling the flat surface of the
16:9 digital wide-screen to remain complete.
The front of the player is coated with a
white varnish to emphasize the modern sense
of brightness and simplicity. The back of
the player adopts a misty-surface design
with skid-proof rubber pads to enhance shockproof
stability when the MobiNote DP7010 is held
in the hand. On the operating design, a
silver-gray misty-surface material is selected
to add to the simple, low-profile style
of the player. With the shape of the player
designed to balance the curves and smoothness
of the MobiNote DP7010, not only is the
physical weight of the player reduced, but
the portability of the player is also enhanced.
The MobiNote DP7010 has a "one-click"
user-friendly human interface button which
eliminates the difficulties of learning
and using the device. Its operating display
is designed with familiar looking icons.
Operation is a breeze by just rolling and
clicking the unique "Fly-Roll"
on the side of the device.
MobitNote Technology will announce 3 new
PMPs at CeBIT 2005, the world biggest IT
and communication show held during March
10-16 in Hannover, Germany. These models
come with built-in stereo speakers, 40GB
hard drive, and DRM (Digital Right Management)
solutions. Founded in 2003, MobiNote Technology
