Q1: What kind of photo files does DP7010 support?

DP7010 can support JPEG/BMP/GIF format. Check Technical specifications for more detailed photo playback specifications

Q2: Can the user select background music during photo playback?

Yes. First, you need to select the music via the "Add MYLIST" icon when you playback. And you have to make sure that you turn on "Photo Slide Show" function at the [SETUP] Function Menu. You can adjust volume during photo playback.

Q3: How can I change the background music when displaying pictures in Photo?

You can't change the background music. But you can press the "Previous/Reverse button" and "Next/ Forward button" to view the photo.

Q4: How can I add my favorite song to "MYLIST"?

YES. You may stop the slide show at the [SETUP] Function Menu. If you press the "Play/Pause button" during the photo slide show, it will pause the music only. To press the "Play/Pause button" again if you want to turn on continue the background music.
